Welcome to Ocean Grove Nursery
Ocean Grove Nursery is dedicated to the preservation and propagation of mangrove trees. Located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, we are committed to supplying high-quality mangrove saplings to any agencies and institution that have initiative for sustaining mangrove forest. Our nursery is one of the kind in the Sarawak, where we collect mangrove seed called propagule (Rhizophora) and bring back to our nursery and cultivate it with mangrove-like environment.
Our Mission
Ocean Grove Nursery aim to establish mangrove nursery to nurture high quality of mangrove sapling and support restoration of mangrove forest by partnering with government, NGO agencies, local community and educational institution.
Our Vision
Ocean Grove Nursery set to be excellent in mangrove nursery management and to be global choice of various agencies or institution in partnering for restoration and conservation of mangrove forest, also to empower global communities to engage in costal restoration.
Our Aim
We aim to provide mature mangrove sapling to any agencies or organization that have project to restore or conserved mangrove forest. Also, we provide a place for educational institution to conduct learning activities or research on mangrove sapling. We also aim for making our nursery as tourist attraction, in a way we can spread awareness how important it is to conserve our nature and how to sustain it.
